Frank J. Strazzulla, Jr.
Frank Strazzulla, Jr. was raised in Quincy, Massachusetts. From the ages of 13 through 18 he studied painting and drawing at the Museum of Fine Arts, in Boston, Massachusetts under Mr. Ralph Rosenthal. In 1980, Mr. Strazzulla graduated from the Massachusetts College of Art with a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Art. As part of his undergraduate studies Mr. Strazzulla attended the University of London summer program in 1978 and a Boston

University summer program in Florence, Italy in 1979 studying Renaissance art history and painting. In the summer of 1980 he returned to Florence to begin graduate studies at Rosary College’s Graduate School of Fine Arts at their Italian campus at Villa Schifanoia. After earning his Master of Fine Arts degree in 1982, Frank Strazzulla pursued applied studies at the studio school of Charles H. Cecil and C. Daniel Graves also in Florence, Italy.
Frank Strazzulla, Jr.’s work has received numerous awards and is the subject of many articles. His paintings are represented in both public and private collections in the United States and Europe, including the Hillstead House Museum in Farmington, Connecticut.
