Jordan was born in 1979 in Queens, New York. He began his artistic training at age 14 when he was accepted into the Palm Beach County High School for the Arts in West Palm Beach, FL. After graduating he enrolled at the Kansas City Art institute and in 2003 began classical training at the Florence Academy of Art.
During those years he received several scholarships and awards, including one from the Art Renewal Center in 2006. As a student he began teaching in the Florence Academy's drawing program and landscape workshops. Currently Jordan is a principle instructor in the Florence Academy's painting program and his paintings and drawings are in private collections throughout Europe and the US.
