Megan Lightell

Megan Lightell was born in Coshocton, Ohio in 1979. She received her formal art education and a BFA in Illustration from the School of Visual Arts in New York, NY. Today the artist lives and works in Nashville, Tennessee. From her studio, each canvas is hand stretched and pigments and surfaces are prepared in a slow and traditional method. Notable collectors include: Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Martha Ingram, the Turner Family Foundation, Brown-Forman Group, Blackberry Farm, Ayers Collection at FirstBank, and Iberia Bank.
